What do men like Paul, Peter, Onesiphours, Samson, and Joseph have in common?

All five provide examples of what it means to step out in faith that we today would do well to follow. None were perfect, but God used each of them in significant ways to do His work.

Are you willing to challenge yourself to grow into the same mold?

As Paul says in 1st Corinthians 11, "Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ."

If you're ready for another step of growth, we want you to join us Friday and Saturday, March 15-16, 2019.
NOTE: Tickets are on sale until 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

///// SPEAKERS /////
VANCE HUNT • Although Vance was raised in a good home, he was not saved until age 33. As a self-employed plumbing and heating contractor, he wants to take every opportunity he can to communicate God's Word. He enjoys each chance to preach and is known for his "down-to-earth" style. His favorite topic is Christian behavior, and he is learning Koine Greek from Pastor Keith Surland. The last verse he committed to memory was Revelation 21:4, and his last biblical study was of the end times. In his spare time, Vance also enjoys hunting.

PASTOR LAWRENCE JACKSON • After being fired from his job in 1978, Larry received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His passion is to know Christ and make Him known. Under God's call to preach, Larry serves as the Pastor of Outreach and Foreign Missions at Manna Bible Baptist Church in Baltimore. He preaches for a verdict. He most enjoys preaching about the person and work of Christ. His last Bible study topic was in the book of John.

PASTOR KEITH SURLAND • Keith was self-employed for most of his life until he felt God calling him into ministry, leading him to pursue a Master of Divinity degree. As a fluent reader of Koine Greek, he has read through the entire Greek New Testament several times and most of the Greek grammars. His passion is for scholarship and winning souls, and he most enjoys talking about hermeneutics and theology as a result of exegesis. He likes to spend his time writing poems and completing various projects with wood.

KEN VARNEY • Ken's life story is about his unimaginable transformation from lost sinner to one of Christ's own. Feeling compelled by God to preach the Word, he studied for and received a graduate degree in expository preaching. He was also ordained by Mount Airy Bible Church to preach the word on July 12, 2012. Today, he is passionate about preaching, discipleship, and physical fitness. His focus is expository preaching with an emphasis on personal revival. The last Bible verse he committed to memory was John 5:39.

PASTOR TIM WEBSTER • Tim is passionate about Jesus, his family, the Word, the church, and occasionally basketball. He preaches because of God's grace, enablement, and choice to call him to that task. It is a joy and a privilege that he does not take lightly. His preaching is passionate, fast-paced, and true to Scripture. His last memory verse was John 3:17, and his last study was in 1st Corinthians.
